To make it a little easier on you, we wanted to put together a list of paid search resources for you. We’ve included some great blogs to stay up to date on paid search news, help centers from Google and Bing, and some of our free PPC tools!
AdWords Blog: This is the official AdWords blog straight from Google, so this will be the first place to report any official news. This will always be a great resource for any updates or news about AdWords.
Bing Ads Blogs: Similar to AdWords, if you advertise on Bing you should use Bing Ads’ blog as a resource. The blog is updated a few times a week with updates and tips about the platform. This is a great resource especially if you’re new to Bing Ads.
Search Engine Journal: SEJ is a community-based search marketing blog with articles coming from real independent and in-house online marketing experts. The PPC section of the blog features useful tips and news to keep you up to date on all things paid search.
PPC Hero: One of the great things about this blog is the amount they post. You could read this blog every day and still find something new to read. It features posts about everything from basic how-to’s to more advanced tips and case studies.
Google and Bing Resources
Aside from their blogs, Google and Bing both also have great help centers that include how-to-guides. If you’re a paid search beginner, you might want to bookmark these sites:
AdWords Grader: Our AdWords Grader will rate your account on a scale from 0-100 based on six different metrics. These include Quality Score, landing page performance, and wasted spend on non-performing keywords. Seeing the areas your campaigns can improve upon is the first step to improving the success of your campaign.
Keyword Performance Analyzer: The PPC Keyword Performance Analyzer Tool is designed to quickly & simply analyze the keywords of your campaigns. The tool will categorize them by differentiating the top performers from the non-performers. With this tool you can find effective keywords more easily, helping you save time in the decision making process.
